Advice & Care
Advice & Care
Bath Bomb General Advice:
Getting started
Run a warm bath and wait until it’s mostly full before dropping the bath bomb in. Watch it fizz and dissolve, this usually takes a few minutes, then hop in and enjoy.
Water temperature
Warm water works best. Very hot water can cause the bath bomb to dissolve too quickly, so you lose some of the fizz and fragrance before you’re even in.
Soak time
Soak for at least 15–20 minutes to get the full benefit of any oils or moisturising ingredients. Bath bombs with shea butter, cocoa butter, or oils can leave a light film on the water, that’s completely normal and part of what makes your skin feel soft afterwards.
Storage before use
Keep bath bombs somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready to use them. Damp or humid conditions can cause them to soften, crack, or start fizzing early. An airtight container or resealable bag works well if they’re not in their original packaging.
Bath surface care
Some bath bombs contain natural colourants or glitter that can leave a light residue. A quick rinse or wipe of the bath afterwards keeps it looking its best, this is especially true for brightly coloured or oil-rich bombs.
Skin sensitivity
If you have sensitive skin, it’s worth checking the ingredients list first, particularly for added fragrance oils or colourants. If any irritation occurs, rinse off with fresh water.
