Description

There’s something about Tiger’s Eye that just draws you in. That warm golden brown, the way the light moves across it when you turn it in your hand. It’s one of those stones that looks like it shouldn’t exist in nature.

Each stone has its own stripe pattern running through it, deep amber, rich brown, and that signature silky sheen that makes it look almost alive. Bold and grounding at the same time.

These are large tumble stones, proper pieces, not decorative chips.

Each order contains one intuitively chosen stone.

Crystals are sourced from reputable suppliers. All stones are natural and will vary slightly in colour, shape, and size.

The Benefits

Tiger’s Eye

Is a metamorphic rock formed when quartz gradually replaces a fibrous mineral called crocidolite, preserving the original fibre structure within the stone. That’s what creates the chatoyancy, the silky optical effect that shifts as light moves across it, set off by the stone’s warm golden bands. It’s the same phenomenon you see in a cat’s eye, which is exactly where the name comes from.

It sits at 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it hardwearing and well suited to everyday carry.
Tiger’s Eye is widely associated with confidence, clarity, and focus, and is often reached for as protection against negative energy. It’s the stone people reach for when they need to make a decision, hold their nerve, or stop second guessing themselves. Grounding without being heavy. Energising without being chaotic.

Keep it in your pocket on the days you need to feel a bit more like yourself.

Advice & Care

General Crystal Advice:

Cleansing
Crystals can pick up energy from handling, travel, and everyday use, so many people like to cleanse them before first use and every so often after. A few simple methods:

Rinse under cool running water for a minute or two (avoid this for softer or water-sensitive stones like selenite or malachite)

Leave in direct moonlight overnight, a full moon is popular but not essential

Pass through the smoke of incense, sage, or palo santo

Place on or near a cluster of clear quartz or selenite, both are known for cleansing other stones

Charging

After cleansing, some people like to “charge” their crystals, essentially setting an intention or giving them a moment of focus before use. This might mean holding the stone while thinking of what you want it to support, whether that’s calm, confidence, or simply a reminder to slow down.

Everyday use

Carry a tumble stone in your pocket or bag, keep it on a desk or bedside table, or simply hold it during a quiet moment when you need to reset. There’s no wrong way to use it, it’s really about what feels right for you.

Storage

Keep stones somewhere they won’t knock against harder materials or each other, a soft pouch or lined box works well. Direct sunlight for long periods can fade the colour of some stones, so a shaded spot is best for storage.

A note on care

These are natural stones, so completely uniform, they’re part of what makes each piece special. Store away from small children and pets, and treat as a decorative item rather than a toy given their size
