The Lotus Stone
Sodalite Tumble Stone
Sodalite Tumble Stone
Description
Description
Sodalite has a deep, moody blue that feels almost midnight. Some pieces are a rich, even navy. Others are streaked with white or grey, giving them a marbled, almost stormy look. No two stones are the same.
It’s a calm, quiet colour. The kind you can lose yourself in for a moment.
These are large tumble stones, proper pieces, not decorative chips.
Each order contains one intuitively chosen stone.
Crystals are sourced from reputable suppliers. All stones are natural and will vary slightly in colour, shape, and size.
The Benefits
The Benefits
Sodalite
Is a tectosilicate mineral, part of the same family as lapis lazuli, and gets its rich blue colour from the presence of sulphur within its structure. It typically forms in igneous rock, often alongside other feldspathoid minerals, which is what creates the white and grey veining you can see running through some pieces.
Emotionally, Sodalite is often reached for during moments of overthinking or self doubt. It’s associated with calming a busy, anxious mind and encouraging honest, clear communication, both with others and with yourself. A stone for when your thoughts feel tangled and you need a bit of quiet clarity to find your way back to what’s true.
It scores 5.5 to 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, so it’s a reasonably durable stone that will still benefit from a little care

Advice & Care
Advice & Care
General Crystal Advice:
Cleansing
Crystals can pick up energy from handling, travel, and everyday use, so many people like to cleanse them before first use and every so often after. A few simple methods:
• Rinse under cool running water for a minute or two (avoid this for softer or water-sensitive stones like selenite or malachite)
• Leave in direct moonlight overnight, a full moon is popular but not essential
• Pass through the smoke of incense, sage, or palo santo
• Place on or near a cluster of clear quartz or selenite, both are known for cleansing other stones
Charging
After cleansing, some people like to “charge” their crystals, essentially setting an intention or giving them a moment of focus before use. This might mean holding the stone while thinking of what you want it to support, whether that’s calm, confidence, or simply a reminder to slow down.
Everyday use
Carry a tumble stone in your pocket or bag, keep it on a desk or bedside table, or simply hold it during a quiet moment when you need to reset. There’s no wrong way to use it, it’s really about what feels right for you.
Storage
Keep stones somewhere they won’t knock against harder materials or each other, a soft pouch or lined box works well. Direct sunlight for long periods can fade the colour of some stones, so a shaded spot is best for storage.
A note on care
These are natural stones, so completely uniform, they’re part of what makes each piece special. Store away from small children and pets, and treat as a decorative item rather than a toy given their size
