The Lotus Stone
Red Jasper Tumble Stone
Red Jasper Tumble Stone
Description
Description
Red Jasper has a quiet strength to it. Deep brick red, sometimes shot through with darker veining or soft grey banding, it’s a stone that feels solid and steady the moment you pick it up.
Every stone is different. Some are a rich, even red throughout. Others carry streaks of grey, black, or rust that break up the colour and give each piece its own character. No two are the same.
These are large tumble stones, not decorative chips.
Each order contains one intuitively chosen stone.
Crystals are sourced from reputable suppliers. All stones are natural and will vary slightly in colour, shape, and size.
The Benefits
The Benefits
Red Jasper
Is a form of chalcedony, a variety of microcrystalline quartz, coloured deep red by iron oxide impurities within the stone. It typically forms in sedimentary or volcanic rock, often built up in layers over long periods, which is what gives some pieces that distinctive banded or brecciated look.
Jasper scores 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it a durable, everyday stone that holds up well to handling.
It’s associated with grounding, stamina, and a steady kind of strength, the sort you draw on quietly rather than announce. A stone to carry when you need to feel grounded rather than pulled in a hundred directions.

Advice & Care
Advice & Care
General Crystal Advice:
Cleansing
Crystals can pick up energy from handling, travel, and everyday use, so many people like to cleanse them before first use and every so often after. A few simple methods:
• Rinse under cool running water for a minute or two (avoid this for softer or water-sensitive stones like selenite or malachite)
• Leave in direct moonlight overnight, a full moon is popular but not essential
• Pass through the smoke of incense, sage, or palo santo
• Place on or near a cluster of clear quartz or selenite, both are known for cleansing other stones
Charging
After cleansing, some people like to “charge” their crystals, essentially setting an intention or giving them a moment of focus before use. This might mean holding the stone while thinking of what you want it to support, whether that’s calm, confidence, or simply a reminder to slow down.
Everyday use
Carry a tumble stone in your pocket or bag, keep it on a desk or bedside table, or simply hold it during a quiet moment when you need to reset. There’s no wrong way to use it, it’s really about what feels right for you.
Storage
Keep stones somewhere they won’t knock against harder materials or each other, a soft pouch or lined box works well. Direct sunlight for long periods can fade the colour of some stones, so a shaded spot is best for storage.
A note on care
These are natural stones, so completely uniform, they’re part of what makes each piece special. Store away from small children and pets, and treat as a decorative item rather than a toy given their size
