Bright Blast Body Mist

Black Amber Plum

It’s rich, resinous note is long associated with warmth and comfort. Studies on amber and dark resin compounds suggest they can help lower cortisol levels and reduce feelings of stress.

Cassis

Made from blackcurrant, is high in natural antioxidants and has a sharp, lifting quality that helps cut through heavier notes. Its bright, fruity character is associated with alertness and energy.

Jasmine

Warm and heady, jasmine is one of the most studied scents in aromatherapy. Research has found it can increase beta waves in the brain, the waves associated with alertness and positive mood, while also helping to ease anxiety and tension. Consistently rated as one of the most effective scents for lifting low mood, studies show it can have a sedative effect on the nervous system too.

Brazilian Orchid

A soft, exotic floral note. Floral scents as a category are consistently linked in research with mood elevation and a sense of wellbeing.

Vanilla Woods

Combines the calming properties of vanilla with the grounding quality of woody notes. Vanilla in particular has been shown to reduce anxiety and lower the startle reflex, making it one of the most soothing scents available.

Musk

Is the foundation of the blend. In perfumery it acts as a fixative, helping all the other notes last longer and settle into the skin, which is why the scent carries with you even after you’ve left the bath

Body Mist General Advice:

Application

Spritz from about 15–20cm away, aiming at pulse points like wrists, neck, and behind the ears where warmth helps the scent develop. A light mist goes further than you’d think, so start with one or two sprays and build up if needed.

Layering

For a longer-lasting scent, pair with a matching or complementary body lotion or oil first. Fragrance tends to hold better on moisturised skin than dry skin.

Best time to apply

Straight after a shower, while skin is still slightly damp, is when scent tends to last longest. Reapply later in the day if needed, mists are lighter than perfume so this is completely normal.

Storage

Keep away from direct sunlight and heat, a cool, dark spot like a drawer or cupboard helps preserve the scent and ingredients for longer. Avoid storing in a bathroom if it gets very steamy or warm.

Patch test

If you have sensitive skin, it’s worth spritzing a small area first and waiting 24 hours before full use, particularly if the mist contains essential oils or fragrance oils.
